Q2: Accoding to the web description, your program should be able to support many different output fomats. But I do not know how to select those fomats. Can you tell me?
A: Please pay attention to the right panel of the interface of our program. Under the "General" tab, you can find a "Profile" box with a drop-down list, where you can find all the output profile options our program offers e you can choose the one you want.
Q3: After my DVD was ripped, I noticed that the output file was not in the exact audio track e subtitle I want. How can I set those options?
A: After your DVD is loaded into the program, you can select the proper audio track e subtitle options on the right panel of the main interface. All the audio e subtitle options that your DVD includes will be displayed in the coresponding lists so that you can select what you need befoe the conversion job.
Q4: There are many output options in the "Profile" list. But I just want to backup my favoite DVDs on my Mac. So could you please tell me what the best fomat I should choose? I hope that I can get output files in better quality as well as in proper file size. It should not be too large.
A: If you only want to watch the output files on your Mac, you'd better select "DivX AVI" as the output fomat, which will provide better output video quality e smaller output size. And you can play the file directly by VLC Player, a free program.
Q5: I want to name the output files in my own way. Could you tell me what I should do with your program befoe ripping?
A: Of course. Befoe you click "Convert" button to start ripping, you should check on the item, chapter o title, e then enter the name of your output file in the "Output Filename" box, the last option under "General" tab on the right part of the main interface.
Q6: I just want to get a small clip of my DVD. How can I do it?
A: You can get this job done in two ways. After your DVD is loaded into the program, please check on the item that you want per convertire. And then, please click the "Trim" button in the program. In the following dialog-box, video trim, you can preview the movie content you have selected. During the playback, you need to click "Set Begin" to decide the starting point e "Set End" to decide the end point of the clip. After the setting, click "OK" to confirm. At last, click the "Convert" button to get the clip you want.
Q7: Is it possible to change the path where the snapshot is to be saved during the preview? And what should I do?
A: Please press the Apple key e "," key simultaneously to reach the "Preference" dialog-box. And then under the "Snapshot" tab, you can set the output path for the snapshot you get during the preview.
Q8: How can I find the output files after the conversion?
A: At the bottom of the main interface, you should be able to find a button "Open". When the conversion job is completed, click "Open" e you can reach the output folder directly where you will find the output files.
Q9: After the conversion, I am not satisfied with the quality of the output file. Is it possible to get better qualities in both video e audio?
A: On the right panel of the main interface, under "General" tab, you can find the adjustment settings for video e audio qualities. Or under the "Advanced" tab, you can improve the qualities by modifying Video Peso e Bit Rate into larger numbers. Fo some output fomats, you can "Custom" some your own values. But for some fomats which are specifically designed for some devices, such as iPhone, Apple TV e iPod, etc, you'd better just use the value we have offered in the list. Or the output files will not be recognized by the devices.
Q10: There are two kinds of profiles your program offers for iPod conversion job, 320x240 e 640x480. What is their difference?
A: They are prepared for two kinds of iPod, G5 e G5.5. If your iPod belongs to G5, you can only use the profiles whose default Video Peso is 320x240; if yours is of G5.5, the more advanced one, you can use all the iPod profiles we offer, regardless of their Video Peso setting. Of course Video Peso in 640x480 will provide much better quality when you watch the movie on your TV via iPod.
Q11: After I got iPod output files, how can I impot them into iPhone?
A: First of all, you must download the latest version of iTunes from
www.apple.com. Next, you need to load the MP4 movie into the "Library" of the iTunes. You will find it in the "Movie" list after that. Connect your iPhone with your PC via USB cable so that the device will be recognized by iTunes. Then, you can "SYNC" the movie into iPhone following its detail instruction.
Actually, the way to impot files into iPhone is same with the way to impot files into iPod.
Q12: Vedo tanti profili nella lista, molti per iPod e altri per iPhone. Quali sono le differenze?
A: Actually, different profiles that we have offered represent different output qualities. Fo most of profiles, you can notice the different default settings on Video Peso e Video Bit Rate. Generally, the higher values you set for those two items, the better qualities e the larger output file size you will get after the conversion. If you want to get the best quality regardless of its file size, you'd better select the profile with the largest Video Peso e Bit Rate.
Q13: After I got Apple TV output files, how can I impot them into Apple TV?
A: You can impot the files into Apple TV in the same way to impot files to iPod o iPhone that we have mentioned above in the Q11.
Or you can connect your Apple TV to your Mac by wireless netwok. You can impot the files by initiating iTunes via Apple TV directly.
Q14: My oiginal DVD is a 16:9 one. But after the conversion, I got a 4:3 file. Can I keep the oiginal aspect?
A: Innanzitutto ripping, please check on the item that you want per convertire. And then under the "Advanced" tab on the right, you can set 'Aspect'. You can enter 16:9 o 4:3 directly in the coresponding place.
Q15: I convert my DVD to iPhone fomat. And the output file can be played well on my Mac. But after I sync the file in iPhone by iTunes, I can only get a black video content during the playback on the iPhone. Why?
A: Please check the Video Bit Rate setting of your conversion job. The option can be found under the "Advanced" tab. Accoding to our test, if you set a value larger than 2500 for this option, the output file will not be played properly on your iPhone.
Q16: I have tried to sync the output files into iPhones through iTunes. But it seems that iTunes refuses to accept them. It gives me the message that the file can not be played in iTunes. Why?
A: You'd better check the output file by playing it in the QuickTime. If it can be played well in the QuickTime, it would be the problem caused by your output settings. Please check the Video e Audio Bit Rate settings befoe the conversion job. If you do not use the value that we have offered in Video Peso e Bit Rate as we have mentioned in the Q9 above, iTunes will not accept the output files.
Q17: In the output file, I found that the position of subtitle is not very proper. Is it possible that I can move it up o down a little?
A: Please press the Apple key e "," key simultaneously to reach the "Preference" dialog-box. And then under the "Advanced" tab, there will be 4 sub-tabs. You should click the "Subtitle" e adjust the offset values of subtitle there.
Q18: I do not think that the picture in the output file is bright enough. Can I modify it?
A: Please press the Apple key e "," key simultaneously to reach the "Preference" dialog-box. And then under the "Advanced" tab, there will be 4 sub-tabs. You should click the "Luminance" one, check on the "Luminance Filter" option first to make the value setting effective, e adjust the proper values there.

A: After your DVD is loaded into the program, if it is shown in title, you can get the chapters by clicking the "+" befoe each title. Then you can get the chapters converted as well.
Q20: What is the best audio fomat that can be played in iPod o iPhone?
A: MP3 would be more popular than others e it can be recognized by many devices besides iPhone. But since it is a compressed fomat, its quality is not as good as M4A. So if you want to get better quality, you'd better select M4A. Generally, we do not recommend WAV fomat since it is too large.
